The Hypochlorous acid It is produced naturally by white blood cells in mammals and plays a fundamental role in the elimination of invading pathogens in our body through chlorination and oxidation. It is produced industrially in artificial form and is used in very dilute solutions at a concentration <0.02% as a disinfectant, being the most effective biocide known, totally safe for humans and animals. Unlike chlorine bleach, Hypochlorous acid It is 100% safe, it is not toxic or corrosive as a disinfectant. Studies proved a much more powerful action of HOCl on pathogens than other disinfectants that are toxic, irritant and corrode surfaces

Although the virus survives on environmental surfaces for a varied period of time, it is immediately inactivated by chemical disinfectants such as Hypochlorous Acid.

The use of HOCl it does not affect the ecosystem as other disinfectants do, such as sodium hypochlorite in bleach form or those based on quaternary ammonium salts on the market. It is easily decomposed by light and reducing agents releasing molecular oxygen, consequently being totally friendly to the environment.
